Introduction

NATS Youth Scholarship program

Purpose

One of the most pressing needs is in education today is funding for scholarships. Scholarships allow deserving students to attain their educational goals, meet their professional objectives and succeed to their fullest ability. Scholarships can help needy students who cannot afford the cost of books, dorm, fee, partial tuition assistance etc.

A great way to give back to the community is to consider giving scholarships to needy and desired students. NATS can determine the requirements that applicants must meet to receive scholarships. The Society will provide needed social, financial and educational support services to the community in an effective and efficient manner. Establishing a NATS scholarship program will create a next step for the needy youth and a place to go platform.

Funding

Funds towards the scholarship program will be solicited from different resources like, Individuals, Grants, Philanthropies, partnerships, fundraising events etc.

Application Process for USA & Canada Scholarships

The completed scholarship application form along with your resume, passport-sized photograph and all supporting documents should be emailed to scholarships@natsworld.org by June 25th, 2025 11:59 PM EST.

Supporting documentation will be verified before scholarships are awarded.

The scholarship recipients will be announced and awarded during the NATS AMERICA TELUGU SAMBARALU 2025 dated on July 05th, 2025.

Selection Criteria.

The selection criteria has a equal emphasis on Merit and Need-based, determined in a preset formulation. Merit includes Academic, Leadership, Extracurricular, and Service.

What is awarded?

Highschool Student Scholarships ($1,000 each)
Medical School Student Scholarships ($2,000 each)

Eligibility criteria -

High School Graduates for class of 2025 from USA & Canada
First-year Medical School Students Starting in 2025

🚫 Note: These scholarships are not available to applicants with parents or siblings who are active NATS Board members, Executive Committee members, or Chapter Coordinators.
